Yes, there is a great little cooking class held at the restaurant Sate Bali which is on Jl Laksmana, more or less opposite the Legian Hotel. Sorry but I can%26#39;t find their phone number right now.

Hey Jenny you will have to give me some cooking lessons when you get back. By then you%26#39;ll be an expert at making up some ';Bumbu';. Yum!

hi all, i%26#39;m visiting bali in 2 weeks and am trying hard to find a good cooking school (excl Ubud and the North). Grateful for comments on Bumbu Bali, Anika Guesthouse and Sate Bali. In addition, did anyone manage to get into the Sate Bali link, I got error messages when i tried... thanks much!

I would like some opinions also as Im off to Bali at end of April.I want an authentic class with some serious cooking..... no market visits spice tastint etc

The best cooking class you will get is with Heinz Von Holzen. He operates out of Sanur and it is BRILLIANT !!!.

Where are Heinz classes held, how much does it cost and what are the details ?

The classes given by Heinz Von Holzen are the ones given at the Bumbu Bali Restaurant. We are booked to attend the lesson in April.

and they responded straight away and gave instructions on paying a deposit and where to meet etc the day of the class.
