Carry on luggage Air Asia X

Hi all, we are about to board a plane for KL then Bali tomorrow. Has anyone had difficulties with carry on luggage? it seems their allowable sizes may be under normal carriers.

i had numerous flight with air asia and we went over our 7kg hand luggage allowance. they did not weigh any hand luggage on any of our trips. some of us had more than one carry on. ie large handbag + carry on bag. nothing was said on any trips. we even took snack foods on board even though it says %26#39;no food%26#39;. glad we did as some of the food was rather spicy and the kids had trouble eating it! they have a different variety of food on each trip. the menu shows a reasonable selection then states which flights it is available on. IF you order a cup of white tea and don%26#39;t like sugar check with them as there were cups of tea left on trays everywhere all with sugar! lol!! have a great trip

I agree.. I have never had my hand carry weighed on Air Asia before.. However for safety reasons they publish the limit to be 7kgs. But I have turned up with alot more baggage from DPS to Jakarta and nothing was checked.

We got on board and I saw a golf bag with clubs in the overhead locker! it was Hilarious... but that was Indonesia Air Asia..

Oh yeah and we ran from the terminal to the aircraft.. Twas a very different experience.
