Flights from Bali to Rinca Island

Does anyone have a suggestion for where to find info on flights from Bali to Rinca? Fares, schedules, etc.

I don%26#39;t believe you can fly directly to Rinca. You have to go to LBJ (Labuan Bajo) on Flores then take a boat.

Too true, there are no flights to Rinca itself. There are daily flights to Labuan Bajo and then it is easy enough to get a day boat trip to Rinca.

The flights in and out of Flores (Labuan Bajo) are often cancelled or delayed, so do not try to do this trip on a tight schedule.

It is well worth going, the dragons on Rinca are awesome.

Forget about Merpati - they are undependable.

I recommend TransNusa - tickets available from the sales office near Carrefour on Sunset road.

There is also Indonesia Air Transport.

Both TransNusa and IAT have daily flights to Labuan Bajo. That is the airport for Komodo National Park (including Rinca).

Both flights depart at 1000 and arrive 1122. Then back to Bali at 1145.

Its seems that transport in and out of Labuan Bajo can be fluid, so its best to check flight status the day before departure.
