Nusa Dua night life

Hi,

Me and my girlfriend are thinking of booking 2 weeks at the laguna in Nusa Dua. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the surrounding area has to offer in the way of restaurants and bars. I%26#39;ve heard there is very little to do. We%26#39;re not looking for anything too lively maybe just somewhere with a bit of live music that we could go for few drinks of an evening to relax and a few local restaurants we can try rather than spend two weeks in the hotel.

Many thanks for your help

You definitely do not want to spend two weeks just in the Hotel.

There is not a lot of night life around ND - for that you need to go to Kuta and the strip in Legian. There are also some more upscale places in Seminyak, like Huu and Kudeta. Taxi to and from ND will run around 100,000 rps (拢7) or so for the round trip.

There are some restaurants to try - Bumbu Bali is always popular, Spice at the Conrad, Pepenero at Jimbaran, the fish cafes on Jimbaran beach, for example.

Get a driver and tour around Bali. Its cheap and really interesting.

There are a lot of restaurants around Nusa Dua and most of them have music and or other entertainment at night.

I would recommend you do some restaurants in Seminyak and that area. I%26#39;ve read really good things about Ultimo and Rumours as very nice and very reasonably priced. There are a number of wonderful restaurants there that are more expensive too (like KuDeTa).

That%26#39;s good news thanks for the info.

My girlfriend loves the look of the Laguna so it%26#39;s good to know that there is stuff to do in ND and if we do want to venture to Kuta it won%26#39;t be too expensive.

Just to check was that roughly 拢7 to Kuta and roughly how long does that take?

Cheers
