ATM Single Transaction Limit

Dear All,

When using ATM%26#39;s in Bali does the single transaction limit (ie: the most $ you can withdraw in one hit) vary with the different banks machines or is it as in places such as Vietnam where an almost standard limit is applied across all brands of ATM.?

ATM Single Transaction Limit

The most you can get per transaction is 3 Million (from the machines that say 100,000 on the front) otherwise you get 1.25 M from machines that dispense in 50,000 rupiah notes. Don%26#39;t forget that unlike Australia, your card comes back LAST in the Bali ATM transaction, so don%26#39;t walk away without it.

ATM Single Transaction Limit

The amount you can withdraw from an ATM does vary from machine to machine. Some let you withdraw 3 million rupiah while others let you only withdraw 1.5 million. There is an ATM near Bintang supermarket which lets you withdraw 3 million.

i went to a few atm%26#39;s in bali. some gave me a limit of 1 million others 3 however be careful. an atm ate my card on my 3rd last day there. if this happens and there is security there tell them and they put a card in and it spits your card back out.
