I have been sitting at the computer night after night trying to narrow down accomodation for my husband and I with two kids 9 and 7 years old. I love the villa style but most are open air pavillions with the bedrooms just opening out into the open and call me nuts but I will be lying in bed thinking someone could just walk through their bedroom door. I really like VILLA KUBU but cannot see any picture that shows me a floor plan. Can anyone give me an idea? Also looking at the Sun Island Villas and The Elysian 1 bed villa as there is a little lounge area where the kids can sleep. SO BASICALLY IM LOOKING FOR A LITTLE PRIVACY FROM THE KIDS BUT KNOWING THEY ARE SAFE TUCKED UP IN BED SO I DONT WORRY.
What do you think?

If you don%26#39;t like the villas because of the lack security, then why not look at getting a suite or interconnecting room at a hotel. Kumala Pantai at Legian (near Seminyak) is really family friendly and has suites and connecting rooms. Of course you are not going to have as much room in a hotel compared with your own villa, but there will be other children at the hotel for your kids to play with, which could be a real bonus for them and for you. Kumala is in a great location, right on the beach, two massive pools, beautiful tropical gardens, great buffet breakfasts and you can walk to some great restaurants, shops and spas. There are lots of other fmaily friendly hotels you could try but as my kids are grown up I can%26#39;t remember all their names except maybe the Padma and Jayakarta (personally Kumala is better than Jayakarta).

We are staying at Villa Maja in Seminyak...bedrooms upstairs as well as down...cafe style folding doors that you can close and lock at night...we found this villa on vrbo.com. Our kids are 4 and 2 years so we want lots of security. The walls of this villa a high too!

as above. get an interconnecting room or else you%26#39;ll probably share with the kids.
Thank you to everyone so so much. Even though I started off with stars in my eyes looking at the Elysian and the Sun Island Villas which was going to set us back between $5000 to $8000 Aussie dollars I took some good advice and checked out the Kumala Pantai which looks fantastic for our family and our budget. We can use the extra funds to have a good time. Thanks again everyone.
