Silent Night

As I have written earlier I am not longer writing on the %26#39;other post%26#39; re Nyepi or Silent Day but I would love to just write about the absolutely beautiful starry Silent Night we experienced in Bali last night as a result of a complete absence of lights on the island. Brigid has already written about it but I have to let you all know that I haven%26#39;t seen as many stars in the sky since I was in Central Australia- it was just too wonderful for words. I wish they has Silent Day more often!

Silent Night

sounds like a great end to a beautiful nyepi day in bali. lets hope the %26#39;nyepi prisoner%26#39; has realized how they spoilt their holiday and what they missed out on being so critical. we could all learn a lot from the balinese people. i would love to have at least one day every year like nyepi where everyone can rest, relax and reflect. our public holidays are filled with activities and people are still encouraged to work in return for big $%26#39;s so we really don%26#39;t have a day like nyepi.

Silent Night

Simple pleasures are far and away the best.......

From my stressful life here, that sounds perfect.
