Borobudur tour guides/companies

I will be staying in Yogyakarta in July for 3 nights (most likely at the Hyatt) and would like to hire a reliable tour guide or company to see Borobudur, Prambanan and other sites. Any recommendations. Thanks so much.

Since you%26#39;re staying at the Hyatt, why not have them provide you with a car and driver ? You may pay a few extra dollars but it%26#39;ll be worth it. You%26#39;ll get a good driver with a car in excellent condition and not be taken to tourist trap shops and restaurants.

Thanks for the info about the Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta, but I don%26#39;t see how anyone would stay here when the Sheraton website says it%26#39;s closed and it won%26#39;t take any reservations? I certainly wouldn%26#39;t consider this hotel under those circumstances.

The hotel still needs to update with their latest pictures, therefore can%26#39;t be seen on their sheraton.com website yet.

However, they have another website at www.sheratonyogya.com

The fact is the hotel has been reopened since August 2008, and has been receiving many guests staying there..

How far away is Borobudur from yogykarta city? Can the main sites be done in 1 day with a hired driver?

We hired a vehicle and done 2 sites comfortably+airport shuttle inclusive(hire vehicles at airport)

morning at Borobudur then to Prambanan with plenty of time to spare
