I just returned from an excellent diving trip around Sipadan Island, Mabul and Kapalai off the coast of Borneo Malaysia. Saw more turtles and shark than anywhere else in greater numbers. My favorite were the clown fish weaving in and out of their anemone homes, but the mandarine fish and nudibrachs were are real treat o see for the first time also. There are a few places to stay, we were happy at Borneo Divers Mabul Resrt and with the number of dives we got at Sipadan since it is by permit. The diving right off the dock was not shabby for muck diving.
