plan of attack - what do you guys think?

lots of advice would be gratefully received xx

plan of attack - what do you guys think?

Sounds good to me if that%26#39;s what you want to do.

plan of attack - what do you guys think?

but what would you? You seems to be a bali encyclopedia :-))))

any tips would be great, can%26#39;t imagine I will get back to Bali for a good few years, so i would love to see the top places x

We%26#39;re all different, so what I would do might not be what you would do. My sojourns to Bali are driven by cost, time, beaches, nice food/drink, some culture, some shopping, and some Vitamin D from the sun. I love going back to old places but love trying new places.

My three top tips are research, research, and research. Not only on TA, but other websites, blogs, image searches, books.

Nothing wrong with your itinerary, you%26#39;ve got some beach time in Pemuteran and the Gilis, and you%26#39;ve got your culture and shopping in Ubud. I%26#39;m sure that wherever you are, you%26#39;ll enjoy yourself, as you%26#39;re not in our godforsaken country!

OK great thanks for all this info, just finding it hard to pinpoint what we want to do.

If you had 7 days in Bali to explore (bearing in mind we have just spent 4 days in Ubud) where would you go? We love culture, intimate hotels and also beaches. Don%26#39;t want to spend the earth.

Cannot wait, I am so excited.

Okay, if you%26#39;re spending 4 of your 7 in Ubud, you%26#39;ll get your culture and boutique hotels. If then you%26#39;re wanting to hit the beach, I%26#39;d personally head for Sanur - excellent value beachfront boutique hotels, chilled out resort, nice beach, shallow lagoon, plenty of restaurants and a bit of shopping, lots of spas. It%26#39;s also only a 45 min drive from Ubud, so you don%26#39;t waste half of your holiday travelling. It%26#39;s also about 30 mins away from the airport, so quite an easy transfer for your flight back home.

fantastic thanks so much

ubud yes

gili t yes

pemuteran for 3 days, that probably two nights. you leave gili t in morning arrive at padangbai (if catching fast boat) then 3- 4 hours pumteran. one day in travelling. then 3/4 hours to airport on final day. personally, i would stay around padangbai. there%26#39;s lots to see and do there and only 1 hour from airport. things to do at padangbai and link to padangbai. there are other things to do in the area also.

• Beach front of bay – swimming, snorkel far reef

• Surf – right - south on other side of harbour wall

• Blue lagoon - snorkeling – 10 minute walk north

• Bias tugul – white sand beach – 20 minute walk south –swimming

• Black sand beach – continue walking past bias ugul turnoff for ½ hour and arrive at village – stroll along beach, great views of nusa penida, fishing boats early morning returning.

• Bicycle hire

• Local Market

• Pura silayukti - on north point – mossie repellent needed to walk to tip of point – walks to smaller shrines with views

• Diving tours

• Boats to nusa penida, gilis, lombok mainland

I agree with Noodles....Pemuteran is a long drive from Ubud %26amp; you%26#39;re short of time.

I%26#39;d suggest either Sanur or as Rock suggested Padangbai or maybe even Amed which is also on the east coast %26amp; good for snorkelling %26amp; diving.
