Ramayana ballet

I%26#39;m planning to visit Jogja in July and want to include in my itinerary Ramayana ballet. Anyone, has seen the show? With the price, etc, is it worth going? How long is the show?

Saw the Ramayana at Prambanan in the outdoor theatre. Very nice and worth seeing IMO.

Different prices for seats from 50,000 to 200,000 Rp. Not sure but think the show was 90 minutes. Everyone is invited onto the stage afterward to take photos.

As you are coming in July, you certainly should go to the outdoor performance at Prambanan.

There are two kinds of performances, a condensed version in one night, and a full version on four consecutive nights in a weekend.

The dates in gray shade are for the full performances, the other dates for the condensed version. You can of course attend less than all the episodes of the full version.

I will recommend see the ballet at Prambanan open teater in Jogja. the performance is held in June up to October ( tourists season),

Tiket price last year: VIP Rp 200.000, Special class Rp 125.000, class I Rp 100.000, II Rp 75.000, III Rp 50.000.

Time : 19.30 - 21.30

For Transport it takes 35 minute from downtown.I recommend to rent a car for one fullday from morning. Price negociate.
