gili t in september

hi,

we are planning a trip to bali in september and was hoping to spend a few nights in gili t.

would we be ok just turning up on gili t and finding accommodation or would we be better sorting it before we arrive?

dont want to end up sleeping on a beach.

Always important to book ahead as Gili T can be full at that time of year with European holidays etc.. I have been there a few times from August thru to Sept and it is quite busy!!

My reccomendation is two places the 1st is ';The Beachhouse'; they have a great arrange of accomidation to suit all budgets.... They are located right in the hub and only a short walk to the beach(5 min) they have a great pool and there seafood bbq at night is no doubt the best on the island, i fact all there food!!

Otherwise up market is a brand new place called Ko Ko Mo... very stylish and classy.

I will be there in Sept for my 40th hope to see you there.

as advise it is better to book before going. so where to stay? there are lots and lots of accommodations. the lonely planet gives a lot of choices. also google gili trawangan and the sites give a selection of choices. thorn tree is another good travel advice site.

i saw that your budget is 20 pounds which is about 320 000 rupiah. a studio room at the beachhouse is about 440 000 rups including tax and service charge. martas is 400 000 for double room and big bubble was about 375 000 for air con double. all these have pools are situated east of the main pier.
