We were think of staying at the Ari Putri Hotel and was I wondering if anyone has stayed here and can they tell me what its like? Can any one also let me know if there is any surf near or at Sanur?

i have not stayed there so cannot comment on that. the hotel is located at the southern end of sanur. as for the beach, sanur has a calm protected beach. no surfing waves breaking on the shore. surfers go out to the reef. the locals will take you out there by boat to surf. the beach itself is best for swimming at high tide. at low tide use the hotel pools. another property in the same area to give you a comparison is sanur beach villas. very good accommodation owned by Ron an aussie expat.
