Hotel Advice

My wife and I are having a tough time deciding between Qunci Pool Villas and Hotel Tugu so looking for a little advice. Which one has nicer rooms, and nicer ';swimmable'; beach?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Haven%26#39;t seen Tugu but understand it very nice indeed and quite lavish whereas Qunci goes for more the clean line look. Qunci though is setup quite well for a small hotel with good food and bar and it is only about 10 mins in a taxi to Senggigi for additional food choices, mini marts and ATMs. Tugu on the other hand would be problematic to get back from Senggigi after dinner though it is closer to the Oberoi for a change in dining. Tugu does have some unique things to do. I guess it depends on whether or not you are into exclusive places and submit to them or want a little more independance at a place like Qunci. The beaches in the north west are very nice but many beaches along the west coast have undertows. At Tugu you are probably less likely to be pestered by hawkers on the beach.
