Looking at this for January - 2 nights at Mercure Sanur 2 nights Lovinia 2 nights Ubud 1 night Candidassa and back to Sanur. Wondered how easy it would be to organise this yourself as a private tour.
Any thoughts on flight carriers from the UK. Have a 6ft 2 hubby. Have been offered Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Quatar (which is much cheaper by far.)
Any suggestions for a better hotel?

Very easy to book something similar yourself, and at least then you can choose your hotel too. If it were me, I would book flight first; personally I prefer Singapore Air or Thai Air, although Qatar does usually work out reasonably cheap (bear in mind the time it takes to travel via Doha and KL to Denpasar though). If you want a cheaper flight, Air Asia fly out of Stansted to KL, then you can get a connecting flight to Denpasar.
Secondly, I%26#39;d then book hotels, either through one of the many internet booking site (Asiarooms or Agoda are my faves).
Then organise your transport between resorts when you%26#39;re there. You get approached every few metres on the street asking if you want transport. Just get talking to these guys, tell them where you want to go and when, and agree on a price. For the quieter resorts like Candi Dasa and Lovina, I%26#39;d also consider arranging your return journey with whoever takes you, just in case you struggle to get transport out of these places.
